Comments

The thing I love most about blogging is the comments from people reading my blog. Sometimes these comments lead to a "conversation". For the past month or so I haven't been able to leave comments on blogs. And if I am successful, I have to use anonymous.

Google has ruined Blogger.

Maybe the lack of "conversation" is the reason I don't look forward to posting anymore.

I am very guilty of not leaving comments. I read your blog every time there is an update.

Have you updated to the new blogger beta and also did you update your template. If you did update make sure your email address is filled in the settings. If all is Ok then you can enter your email or blog address that will display on each comment.

Please let me know and I can send you the step to displaying your address on each comment.

dubiquilts@dubiquilt.com is my email address.

Please don't stop posting. I, too, am guilty of "lurking" - reading, but not commenting. I started a blog last year, but quickly gave it up. I've never managed to keep a journal either. I really admire those of you who keep blogging.

The guys who created Blogger sold the company to Google. After a few months we had Beta Blogger. The "new" test item and the new lockout on comments. That little icon of a padlock.

Bloggers do use alot of storage (and it's Google's storage we use) for our posts and all the pictures we load. Did you know that we could loose all our archived posts with one little click--by Google?
