It's cold here in the house- I can't image how cold it would be if I went outside.
I am worried about the mother out there wandering in Arizona .......I'm her age but don't have a heart issue or take important meds.....but wandering around, lost in the dark and the cold....I can feel that...I can be afraid of that.......this will not end well.....I HOPE I am wrong.
Another book has gotten itself off the "in transit" list and into the Library. Waiting for pickup... I shredded more paper....I have a large bag filled with paper that needs to be shredded.....we (daughter) has been emptying drawers and files. She holds it up and I say yes or no....so I AM helping. She has appointments and will get here when she gets here.....Son has gone out for lunch....while I was having breakfast oatmeal......None of us are on the same schedule.
The shredding reminds me of Lipman's book about Trump in the White House- first time...tearing up every document. And the staff having to paste them all back together...
Today I am reading Fast Women. It's like a cross between Perry Mason and Sex in the City. Sort of- I haven't watched much Sex in the City- I just am reminded of the dynamics of it. The clothes, the drinking, and the sex. Fast Women has that plus a Murder. Well, more than one. And the guy brings Chinese Food when he visits.....I have been wanting Chinese food since husband died. Years. Two plus of them.
That's it......I need to check the temp in here...or add more layers.... it's 30 degrees with bright sun outside. Lots of deep snow everywhere. It was 63 in here- I hadn't turned it up to 66......my fault.
