Daily Notes for Thursday, October 22nd, A bit more chill in the Maine Air...

Oatmeal, Newspaper and Suduko....  one bill but it was just a warning..the real bill comes a few weeks from now.  I had one check to write- son is carrying it to the mailbox as I type.

A lone deer was out back eating things off the grass.  We looked at each other.  I tried for a photo but..it wasn't clear what I was having you look at.

As soon as my breakfast circulates.....I will attempt a shower.  There is nice shower chair so I can sit down if I get shaky,   I left my hair wide and curling this morning...didn't bother with it much.  I was happy to see that it still gets curly.

I am eating my way thru the food supply in the fridge ...things purchased for me.  Today might be the Pot Stickers.  In honor of book I am reading.

I am reading Fast Women by Jennifer Crusie (2001). and eventually Gab will start bringing Chinese food to Nell's house.  When I read this particular book I wish there had been a man like Gab in my Life.  Daughter keeps trying to find a copy of the book for me to own and keep in the bookcase...so far we haven't had any luck.  The Library copy was a gift... the library didn't buy a copy.  I might be the only person taking it out as it remains in like new condition.   In the recent "purge" I expected it to be gone.

The sun has come out...well, I have nothing more to type...going to shower and wash my hair...I will be back to tell you I am okay and nothing bad happened....like a slip and fall.  I have grip bars and a chair... and my iPhone near by to call for help.....getting old is so labor intensive.  I recall falling down my Grandmother's steep stairs and no one even came to check on me.  They did slap a bandaid on my bleeding nose. I was two or three years old.  I always felt like I was easy to forget....
