Daily Notes- Thursday July 16th. Sunshine comes and goes here in Maine- Ceiling fans going....Rain ???

Good Morning.... I've had two older gentlemen (possibly younger than I am) come to the door to talk about religion- the Golden Rule. ( I was tempted to bring the President into that convo) We ended up talking about my brother-in -law's chainsaw Black Bear.....  I try to steer any religious conversation in any other direction........the Bear usually works.  It's a very very nice bear.

So...clouds today but no clue as to what happens later in the day.  Rain would be nice.

I am considering the lawn mower in the shed out back- mowing the WEEDS in the flower beds. I know it's an incredilbly BAD idea as there are rocks and things in the beds.... AND....I don't know how to start the darned thing so no worries....it won't happen.  My Master Gardener Beds will continue to look terrible.

Messi was determined to win that match yesterday and he did....Mick and Beckham and a few other famous Brits were in the audience.  England had quite a few opportunities.  They will mull them over until the next World Cup.

I watched PBS yesterday- Black Holes and Gas Giants.  The Cosmos intrigues me.  We do have stardust in our DNA.  I'd like my ashes to go into Space...... there was a small rocket company on the old Navy Base at one time...sending ashes into Space.

I have not finished Crash Landing as yet- the Soccer took up Reading Space.  But I am determined to begin another book today....I'll have 4 or more to pick up at the Library visit tomorrow.  That many going back unread.....seemed interesting when I chose them but not so much when I tried to read them.  I renewed a few....

I'm  still considering watermelon as a snack (fruit) item for next week.....I have the last two hot dogs to polish off today.   And then perhaps something different for next week's late lunches. Perhaps Baked Chicken from the deli- still warm if possible with mayo and honey mixed in....was quite the favorite a few years ago.   Protein....

Well, that does it...my book and then perhaps another Pirate Ship Book....I will continue reading this one because I recall a very pleasant ending (when one seems hard to imagine).......I don't recall what I ordered at the library but I'm sure 50% will be read-able.  A Good Book is actually pretty difficult to find..... also a good friend.
