Daily Notes on a Complete WHITE Morning in Maine.

One narrow shoveled path to the front steps.......in case of needing a quick exit.  I can hear the snowblower idling...

I have oatmeal in the microwave and hot water heated for my one a day cup of coffee... I went to sleep last night with the entire state of Maine colored Ice Blue....heavy snow.   It measures well over two feet. But then I'm inside and it's outside.   My oatmeal is beeping.....I'm fine- I am hoping ALL of you are fine as well.

Glad you still have power and your son is there to help move the snow. When you get that much it feels like an impossible task, and you run our of places to dump it. My area escaped with only about 4", after the weather people kept assuring that we'd get 6-10" for certain. The sub-zero temps were accurate and brutal. My dogs have never gone potty so fast. I feel so bad for the birds and little creatures trying to find food. We put out as much birdseed and suet as we can. Stay warm and hydrated!
