Daily Notes- Wednesday August 20th. Cool, no wind.....no Sun.

I transferred another index card over to the post....  this one got complicated.

1.  I mistakenly watched the PBS show on Vietnam... and had a great deal of trouble falling asleep.

2.  It's been cool and dry for a few days now...I am back to wearing a tee shirt and a long sleeved work shirt over it...was considering socks.  Uncovered my outdoor containers and they look like crap....so I might just pull plants out and be done with them (everything needs a haircut- but the petals are "sticky").   Those hot dry weeks did them no favors.  There were no nice potted plants at the grocery last Friday...or I would have bought some and replaced a few straggly flowers.

3.  I heated up and ate my Prepared Grocery Store Meatloaf Dinner.  Yesterday.  It was good.  Today the last of the BLT fixings.  OR the Corn.  OR the Watermelon. Or A slice of Sunday Pizza with Salad.  I read this list three times and I am settling ON the CORN.  Perhaps rolled in some sort of spicy something. And Butter.   I have Japanese Seven Spice.. Shichimi Togarashi Seasoning. Very Spicy.

4.  Reading has moved into the Tedious Zone......I actually do NOT Appreciate it doing that... so I looked over the Cloth Squares...to see if they had returned to being interesting......they had not.  Index Cards are also ....in Time Out.  I did open the Art Drawer......looked over things....then the Art Closet....even more things....I sharpened colored pencils.... sorted colored ink pens......stared at the ceiling......... came over here to type.

5.  Extremely BORED.  Antiques Roadshow continues to hold a fraction of my interest. Perhaps because they never stay on one antique for very long.

6.  I spent some time yesterday considering all the mistakes I'd made in college (perhaps why I watched the Vietnam program).... An Enormous Number of REGRETS.....I wish I could recall the last names of people I should make amends with...but...not a clue. I do recall their first names and where their parents lived (how odd is that???).   That doesn't help.  I also forgot the name of my dorm and the one across from it....the new dorms...I'll always remember Scott Quad.  I also wish I had remembered the number to open my Print Class Drawer LOCK.....I left quite a bit in there.... just like I lost parts of my SELF along the way. I also lost Pieces of Art.........whenever I see a print on Antiques Roadshow I almost start weeping. Well, not almost- I am weeping right now.
