1. Called for the Oil Boiler Annual Check Up and Cleaning.. very very long wait on the phone. I got the impression they no longer did the check up.......I still wanted one. No date was given for the "future" check if there is one... "we'll get back to you." Nice. Last time a guy came he said the Boiler was really full of dust...took him forever to get it all out
2. Library and Grocery Store tomorrow. Need to make lists. Thinking about what I could potentially eat. Potentially ENJOY eating. And what I do Not want to eat.
3. Some Very Old Things on Antiques Roadshow yesterday. Originally aired in 2004 and updated in 2019. Most items decreased in value over time.
4. Do you have anything hidden in the Attic that you might take to the Antiques Roadshow????? I have my grandmother's Best Dishes boxed up in the Attic- which more than likely wouldn't even sell at Goodwill. I would have liked my portion of the annual Christmas Ornament Purchases we made as children. One of my brothers took them all. Promised not to even leave me a "speck of dust". Nice.
5. My husband didn't like Christmas. The tree. The lights. The ornaments. The gifts.. I'm not sure he even liked the food. I liked the tree, the lights, the ornaments and the FOOD which I spent all day making. I had a tree, lights and ornaments last Christmas.
6. I need to dress better for the walk- yesterday I was very cold.... Even with the Sun Shining. Long pants and socks and a jacket??????????? A fellow walker said she was also "freezing".
7. My sister in law sent me a listing of jar lids for the tiny French Yogurt jars my brother loves and I loved also back in the day....the yogurt came in clear glass jars and the ones I liked and kept were ceramic blue jars. I kept paperclips etc in the glass ones. No idea where they are. Now.
8..My husband's high school yearbook arrived in Ohio. Safe and sound. One classmate had lost theirs and his will be the replacement. And they will all remember him.....class president.
9. My yearbook was stolen from my parent's house by that crazy cousin.. my mother also gave away any clothes I left behind......I recall a visit home to the grocery store and saw my favorite yellow dress walk past me. On someone else.
