Cookies would be welcomed here...in my house. These supposedly have only three ingredients. One of which must be peanut butter.
The abundance of bright orange in the Maine landscape is dulling down a bit with the overnight rain. It might actually still BE raining.... we replenished the fridge etc yesterday at the grocery store. I have cinnamon raisin bagels and whipped cream cheese for "snack". Grocery store bagels- I need to pull the toasted oven out of the cabinet.
Soup is supposed to be made today....maybe. I do have a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese sitting on the counter....just begging me to make it. With the addition of extra macaroni.--something I do if I have extra in a jar in the pantry...like today. I have sweet potatoes to bake after we take the Sunday Pizza out of the oven tomorrow. I bought cheese to melt inside the baked sweet potatoes. Yum.
My right leg continues to hurt (up near my hip) when I lift it to rest on the ottoman. Or try to get into my tall bed. Rolling into bed is working... As long as I am not doing any of those things and a few others....it's fine. Walking is pain free. Sleeping is pain free. Getting old is not.
I still haven't finished that book I am reading. I haven't checked to see if I can watch TV...Son said it was the rain impeding the "signal"........that's a new one. I do have a British Soccer game on but I have to say- the image on the screen looks very very weird. And what happened to the Saturday Cooking Shows????
Well, my bagel won't toast itself...have a nice weekend...
