A secondary photo. I like the leaves on this one on top... useless but decorative. And I have a tub of felt plus a hand full of felt scraps...never throw felt away.
So...as I wait for the temp in here to go above 60...... and settle into the couch for football.......and later Sunday Pizza plus a handmade green salad for me.........I wonder about the NYTimes Recipes I copied down for SOUP. The most likely One to try is the Italian Pasta and Chickpea Stew. I have cans of white beans and boxes of small pasta. I also have a can of tomatoes. The freezer still holds a few cheese rinds. I like to toss them in. I will skip the rosemary as I have never liked it and do not have it in the spice drawer.
Once upon a time the garden to my left...now TALL weeds crowding the whole house generator--- was supposed to be a Herb Garden with paths etc. Daughter might want to rearrange a few things and pull a few wheelbarrows full of weeds...to get the Herb Garden back in shape. Maybe Six Perennial Herbs. I can buy the Annuals at the grocery store. Or grow them in a medium pot on the back deck.
So...Son has found me a channel to watch FOOTBALL. 49ers and Broncos. Right now just talking heads and an empty stadium... we have TV on "mute". We don't actually realize how large the football players are until they are handing out candy to the kids in the crowd (while eating a huge burger) in a very tight suit..
The room is warming up... the couch awaits....and my coffee needs a warm up. Sunday Football.
