I'll be having great dessert images here for the remainder of the week into next. Politics? No..Just No. And the desserts will only be images not Reality.
The Sunshine from yesterday is GONE. I have on my wool sweater, thermal under shirt and wool socks and might even add a secondary sweater to today's outfit. But as of now. I added a nice shawl to the outfit. Black with gold designs... the shawl is on my shoulders every single day of my life since it arrived in the mail.
For the very first time in quite a long time...I am finding it difficult to read a book from cover to cover in one day- the one I have on the couch is in its third day and I haven't gotten very far. My attention span seems to be shrinking, Old Age is certainly more difficult than I expected. Very Presidential. Ha!!!!
Daughter clipped branches off the rose bush by the side of the glassed in porch..then clipped them further into short pieces. Way more pinchy thorns than anyone wants. I recall the actual roses as being small and a pretty pink. We are NOT digging the roots out of the ground.
We might not have voted on that....as yet.
I finished off the hot dogs yesterday and today I will have a grilled cheese with pickles. Clear the decks for Grocery shopping tomorrow..... I saw lactate free cream cheese in the grocery handout...and want to try it on some cinnamon raisin bagels next week. "Research Purposes". I also have yogurt ice cream bars but not very often.
Recalling the MONTH when I ate only steamed rice and vegetables (Doctor's Orders)....no flour, no eggs, no dairy, no meat. I could have a banana..no other fruit was allowed. As the weeks went by I could "TRY" one new food to see if my "terrible symptoms" returned (also was taking steroids). It was awful but.. I healed myself. I still like a bowl of steamed plain Jasmine rice. I add a small amount of balsamic vinegar to it and some tiny green peas.. Sounds pitiful but...one gets used to pitiful.. when the rash, the itch and the swollen eyes go away.
Oddly enough my youngest brother had these symptoms at birth almost and into his adult life also. One month seemed like too little when I thought about his years of suffering.
