Sigh...I am hoping for a recorded Curling Match today...don't care what country is playing. I have a book- Fast Women by Crusie to read....the main character is about to have her dull red hair made very bright red. And she is moving into a new place....after being kicked to the curb by a cheating husband... I need my own copy of Fat Women. No--FAST Women. Made myself laugh.
I also collected and had ready....the Garbage and Recycling for today's morning collection by the Town. Did not need a reminder. Extra Points for that. Minus Points for eating all the Coconut Cookies. It was that kind of day and cookies were necessary.
The questions I had about the Guthrie kidnapping were answered by three cable tv stations and the morning paper yesterday....nothing in the morning paper. Today. All the family members cleared of "wrong doing".........a statement many of us were puzzled by. ALL. Is the word that puzzled me.
Watched it SNOW in California and watched people driving in SNOW in California.... for about 5 minutes. that's all I could stand.
I drove cars in SNOW in Chicago & Germany......both really scary places to drive in bad weather. But Maine.....might be the worst. Snow covered ice....wow. Slip and Slide. But Chicago - I am reminded of some EPIC terrible winters.......both times we lived there. And I had to get to work.......somehow. Kids were in college and husband was in Europe....who would have gone looking for me??????? When?
Well, I'm here typing so it was all okay.....ish.
