Daily Notes for September 18th. Sunshine here in Maine and 65 degrees

 It's my Birthday and I shed some happy tears already.....aren't these flowers gorgeous?  From my brother and his wife.  They always send the most beautiful flowers..... thank you Bill and Susan. I very much appreciated emails from former co-workers....Janet and Renee.  Thank you both.  My Bankers sent a lovely card signed by everyone.... they take such good care of me. Answer all my questions.

So Finally I can say I am Eighty Years Young.  I've actually been telling people I'm 80 for a few months  ... I just get so excited about having a Mile Stone Birthday.  And tomorrow is the first day of my eighty first year.

Today is grocery shopping day and the store bakery usually has nice small cakes....and the freezer section has delightfully good quality ice cream....  sigh..Life Is Good.

I have books to read...I was trying to finish Wild Orchids last night but gave up and went to bed.  I thought it was Library Day today....but it's not.  I can read slower today.......laughing.

So.... time to get ready to go to the grocery store....the best gift I ever got was this blog and the lovely people who stop by and read my words each day ...or once a week (laughing). thank you !!!!
